Location Home Page
Once you click the View button for your selected location on the Welcome page, you will be taken to the home page for the selected location. The Home Page, or Facility Dashboard, shows an overview of your current facility’s information, alerts & notifications, account balance, and featured news. You will also find Quick Links to help you easily navigate HFAP Compass Portal.
Navigation
1. The Welcome box contains your username and a link to My Profile to view your complete user details.
2. The Current View box shows the facility you are currently viewing and a Change Facility link. Clicking the Change Facility link will return you to the Facility Selector page where you can change which facility you are viewing. The Change Facility link is only visible to users assigned to more than one facility.
3. The Logout button will log your user out of HFAP Compass.
4. The Facility Profile tab is where you fill out and store all of your facility information for HFAP Accreditation/Certification. This tab expands into a dropdown menu that includes menu options: Get Started, Account Profile, Summary View, Manage Facility Locations, Document Checklist, Submit Change Requests, and Plan of Correction.
5. The Applications tab is where you can submit a new HFAP application, view previously submitted applications, view accreditation status of your facility, and renew your HFAP Accreditation/Certification.
6. The Documents tab allows you to store the documents you need to submit in order to receive HFAP Accreditation and/or Certification.
7. The Resources tab is where you can find additional information regarding Proficiency Testing. This tab expands into a dropdown menu that includes menu options: PT Providers and PT General Information.
8. The Support tab is where you will go if you need assistance while using HFAP Compass.
Important Alerts
9. Your Important Alerts will show the most recent alert that has not yet been acknowledged by the facility.
Get Started
10. The Get Started button will quickly take you to the Getting Started page where you can enter and edit facility information, manage your facility locations, view your document checklist, and view a complete summary of your facility.
Applications in Progress
11. The Applications in Progress section of the home page allows you to manage applications that are currently in progress, and view completed, and submitted, applications. Clicking the Manage Applications link (a) will take you to your HFAP Applications. Clicking the View/Edit button (b) will take you to a page with the details surrounding the application you selected.
Alerts/Notifications
12. Any Alerts or Notifications for your facility will be found here. Clicking the Manage Notifications link (c) will allow you to manage alerts and notifications. You can click the “X” icon in the top right corner of a notification box (d) to remove notification, or you can click the alert box to acknowledge that you received the alert. Alerts cannot be closed until the action discussed in the alert has been taken. Only notifications can be dismissed by using the “X” icon. Clicking the [ + view more alerts & notifications ] link (e) will take you to the Alerts/Notifications dashboard where you can view all alerts and notifications for your facility.
Quick Links
13. Quick Links is a place that helps you quickly access the most frequently used parts of the Compass Tool.
Facility Overview
14. The Overview box has your facility’s legal name, address, and HFAP ID. Clicking the View/Edit button (f) will allow you to edit your facility’s information.
Account Balance
15. The Account Balance box has your facility’s account information including invoice IDs and your current invoice balance. Clicking the View Invoices link (g) will take you to the Invoice section of the document repository, where you can view any previous invoices.
